4.5 Stars - Michelle M. Pillow has worked her magic on this latest installment of (Un)Lucky Valley. The character work and story line were well written and kept me coming back for more. This is a cute story with so many wonderful characters in addition to Mal and Jesse. From the quirky Aunt Polly to the sarcastic Mara, they all just fit together to make a fun story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Jess has bad luck, she her kitchen sink burst, her car was stolen and set on fire, she looses her job.. Mal went to find Jess to talk her into accepting her inherents. He's part elf and gets attached easily. His heart chooses Jess and he'll do anything to protect her. As gremlins attack the town, it's Jess's powers that will save them all. Wonderful characters, family, love, magick, drama, and crazy aunt Polly really makes this book fun to read. I loved this book and the series is really good.
