Ratings and reviews

Mystery and intrigue, human nature, magicks...it has everything. This book continues the adventures of Vin and Elend and the original crew from Book 1. It contains enough clues to keep you entertained, but the mystery of it is complex and intense. The lore is interesting at every step and the world feels complete, as if Brandon Sanderson knew what was happening in the background and was patiently walking us through the foreground of an well-thought-out world.

excellent series of books. My only issue with his writing is how redundant it can be. For example he already explained how steel pushes work many times in the first two books and he includes a guide before the story. yet he still feels a need to explain how these things work 20 more times throughout the book. it's just overly repetitive. I could almost understand one time at the beginning of each new book for a reminder but then why if you have the guide

This is a thrilling story. Such an intense adventure. I loved watching the characters change and bloom along the way. The new characters are intriguing and definitely added some new aspects to to the current dynamic. The continued world building is wonderful. The plot is one twisty ride from start to finish. The things that the characters have to go through is insane. My heart went out to the characters and definitely felt times throughout this story. Great story. I do recommend!
