The author has given us a wonderful chance encounter story that pulls us into the lives of Brody and Vella and does not let go. We are given sadness, instant connection, heartbreak and love. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a short, entertaining read about two people who meet by chance. They both take risks; they both gamble, and they both win some, and they lose some. Isn’t that what life is about? I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to those who like short, steamy romance. Take a chance and read the story.

I don’t even quite know what to say about this book. Particularly if I don’t want to give the whole plot away. It was cute. It was sweet. It was hot. And it was over long before I was ready to let go of these characters. Vella and Brody were perfectly adorable together. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all smooth sailing as emotions are running high and some conclusions get jumped to. But, in the end, love at first sight and the hand of “fate” win out. 1.     I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin.

2.     Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida, and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle.

3.     If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon, and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all.
