This is book two in The Pelican Bay Orchard Series and it is Molly and Haden's story. Molly and Haden have history as they had been in love with each other but it ended with Molly having her heart broken so when she sees Haden again and he is even more handsome she is not going through that again even if he does promise Molly that everything will be different this time but she doesn't know if she can trust him. Haden can't believe that Molly is home for the holidays and she is still as beautiful as ever and the one thing that he really regrets is letting her go but now he needs to show her that this time he is different and he wants a future with her but it work out for them or not only time will tell. I absolutely loved this Magical Christmas story about love and second Chance's and really enjoyed reading it as it was so well written and definitely worth reading. Megan Matthews is a brilliant author and writer and I have read many of her books and I have enjoyed reading every single one and I recommend you read this book and others by her and you will not be disappointed. Molly and Haden have a totally awkward but funny way of meeting each other again after he left town and left her broken hearted and always seeing him as the one that got away and while Haden is only back in town for a short visit things start to change when he sees Molly again and begins to be torn with what he thought he wanted to do next and the life he could have if he stayed. I really liked how this was not only a second chance love story but also about reconnecting with family and seeing that sometimes the life you thought you didn't want can change the older you get. Be ready for fun and loveable characters, a story that pulls at the heart strings and a love story that makes you sigh with happiness. This is the second book in the Pelican Bay Orchards series. You can read and enjoy this book as a standalone but it is connected to the first book, their brothers and it takes place on the family orchard and Pelican Bay. It is set in the Pelican Bay world so if you have read the security series, you'll recognize some of those characters. Haden and Molly's story is a sweet and steamy second chance romance. Molly and Haden were high school sweethearts but Haden went away for college and his need to travel and get out of Pelican Bay broke them up.
