Giving 1 star, because now, the app barely works (freezes up, locks up), the newest update added forced ads(think more intrusive IE slideouts, unwanted forced prompts/slideouts). Sent/inbox glitches bow on loading due to this. Oh, and YES ads were integrated a few years back if we look at update logs and when it was added in but I don't have the patience to go back look at update history logs and add in that exact time ads were added in. Look at edit history for more details.

Hi there, we've had ads for some time now, they are not new! They also run on a separate server therefore does not slow down the app. We recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Give that a try and let us know!

Ok this app has worked flawlessly and has been good at improving features. BUT, since the last couple updates where Yahoo introduced the 'press and hold' feature to filter all emails from the same sender for different options, it's been really bad in that the feature rarely works. It even affected the 'Move' option; I can't move my selected emails to their folder. What happened?!! Please fix! It's a great feature to have on the phone app.

I have swipes disabled, but they remain enabled. A swipe either way goes to the next message and marks it as read. Also, when reading unread email, I click a link to a site and go back and the email is automatically marked as read and closes. It should remain open and provide the option to keep the email unread. A frustrating app to use.
