Ratings and reviews

I have an issue where subtitles just don't appear when I have them enabled, I tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it didn't seem to fix it, I would give this a 5 star rating If it weren't for the broken subtitles. I still like the app overall, and the selection of anime is great even though I have to pay to watch the majority of them.

This app had minor issues of skipping and buffering even with full signal and connected to wifi. Since the latest update, it's having trouble playing episodes and constantly having issues connecting to crunchyroll. It only started since the update. I did not have the issue before then. I've tried reinstalling it, logging out and back in, and neither solves the issue. It connects for 1-2 eposides, then disconnects, then i have to try again in ~10 minutes every time.

I used to rate 5 stars, but they have since taken away the comment feature which is the only thing that set this app apart from other streaming services. They have improved on some things, but the amount of technical issues such as missing or wrong subtitles and server errors on new episodes makes this no better than any other streaming service that has the same shows. They do have a very good selection, but it's not worth dealing with an app that doesn't listen to their user feedback.
