The algorithm is getting out of hand. I just had 8 "recommended for you" and "sponsored" ads between posts on my feed. The ads are getting intrusive as well. Watching a reel and there is an ad bar at the bottom of the screen and then the reel ends and there's an ad following the reel. I get that FB is a business and are out to make money but it is getting excessive.

They keep breaking features. As of the Oct. 2 l, 2024 update I can't search for friends anymore. The search works but when I click on a result or the right arrow beside it nothing at all happens. And the increasing deluge of ads makes me reluctant to open the app to begin with. The idea of staying connected is great but the reality is falling far short.

No more Most Recent! Marketplace shows me items that are already sold, constant ads for Threads, audio doesn't work on most reels and then sometimes it will randomly scroll through several reels at once. It just told me my "session has expired." and asked me to log in again, what gives? Reels are even worse now. They autoplay, and cutouff the last few seconds of the one you're currently watching. Just terrible. As if this app couldn't get any worse, they auto-skip reels now! Terrible!
