Prime members get unlimited full-resolution photo storage and 5 GB video storage (available in UK, US, CA, DE, FR, IT, ES and JP only). Everyone else gets 5 GB for photos and videos. You can view and share your photos on nearly any phone, tablet, or computer, and you can set a screensaver on your Fire TV, Echo Show, or Echo Spot.

Ratings and reviews

Keeps turning on folders I've turned off. This is very annoying, I will turn off uploads for a number of folders and then it will turn them on and upload all the photos in them. These are photos I don't want uploaded so I have to go back in and turn off the folder find all the photos that I didn't want uploaded and delete the manually. If it doesn't one more time, I'm just uninstalling it.

Great app that works so well with your prime membership. Easy to backup your photos up to an unbelievable amount of memory. And then you can display them to all of your Amazon devices with a display, even as a screen saver to your phone or computer or to certain TVs. Amazon and Google have quite a few great devices and services. Thank you so much! :-)

This app have intentionally been stripped of features to allow organization of photos. For example, after uploading a group of photos from device/phone, there is no longer an ability to see what has and has not been uploaded. Worse, when a photo is selected within app there is no longer an ability to delete from phone while leaving on Amazon Photos. Several years ago this was a great app with these features, but seems apparent now that Amazon is no longer wanting to provide this service.

What's new

We’ve updated our app to make it easier to revisit your favourite memories. Tap the smile icon to find your account info and customise Fire TV & Echo Show screens. Tap the paper aeroplane to share memories with friends and family. With this update, you’ll only see photos and videos that have been uploaded, so you’ll know exactly what’s been saved to Amazon Photos.
