Update: This was fixed within a week or so. Thank you! I find the grammar lessons to be really helpful, and that's probably what I like most about the app. ............ Prior review here: Was completing the British English to German course, and lost all my progress in the app. When I load the app, all my course progress is gone. This is not acceptable, but I will update my review if this gets resolved.

I've been using Babble for many months, and I've learned very well! Some of my favorite things about Babbel include how the dialogue is very clear and every word is spoken clearly, the review center, and how you can make your own set of vocabulary words to study. I also like how there is a real life conversation in the end of most lessons, which I think helps me learn the most. Highly recommend this app to learn languages!

I've used pretty much every language app, and this is definitely one of my favorites. It has just a few things that can be improved. 1. The speech recognition is buggy, at least on my device. I usually have to turn off speaking exercises. (EDIT: As of late July, this seems to be fixed! Whoo!) 2. The font used in selection buttons, such as when you're spelling a word from provided letters, is difficult to read. Not dyslexia or astigmatism friendly. Other fonts are fine.
