UX not as 1980s as the desktop app, but still ... Logs you out of your terminal just because you open your IB or read a news article? This is a bit too much. Wrong trade offs made. EDIT: Okay, rating updated after the developer offered a workaround. However, I still think it's a questionable choice that, in 2024, I can't view market data on my phone without getting logged out of Terminal. Most of the data shown in the app is served for free and in near real time by Yahoo Finance and many others.

Thanks for your feedback. You can change the setting so the app doesn’t auto lock your Terminal. Check the How-To section of the App or go to: Main Menu->Settings (gear icon, top right)->General and toggle "Unlock Market Data: Automatically upon app unlock" to off. Or, reach out to the Help Desk or your account rep and we will be in touch.

Finger print reader recommisioned so I can return the stars removed in a previous review. That really was the only major issue I have had with the app. It's usually a solid complement to the desktop and in fact the only practical way of consuming Bloomberg content whilst away from the desktop and truly mobile. Hopefully there won't be any similar dev maintenance missteps anytime soon.

Bloomberg have decided to replace the "home" screen where I could easily swipe through my worksheets with the utterly useless "today" screen. You need to bring the "home" screen back. This isn't just a free app after all. Bloomberg is being grossly incompetent by pushing through an "update" that very negatively impacts its paying customers.
