Been on all my phones since my first smartphone. Used heavily daily for all that time until recently, when it became filled with nothing but ads, opinion, and propaganda. The comment section is among the nastiest I have ever seen. The amount of drivel one must sift through to find even one NEWS item is utterly unacceptable. Just un-installed and will find something else. If you're considering trying out this once useful app, save yourself some time and look elsewhere.

Great app if you don't mind ads literally covering up the content you're trying to read! And it keeps getting worse! The ads are placed right in the way of the articles! When you try to x out of the ad, most of the time it opens the ad content anyway. I understand the need but they're way more intrusive than need be! Please stop! The ads have gone from bad to unbelievably worse! The response is "the ads are out of our control".... Well someone should control it because this app is now unusable!

update 04/2019: so app crashes often now, usually because an ad/video popped up and crashes the app. Also, when I don't want to see certain stories, we're supposed to click on the "Show less of this" option, but it doesn't show me less - I actually think it shows me more! It definitely does not do what it's supposed to. Plus, hate not being able to see stories where I have to subscribe to another website. used to be 4 stars, now just 3.
