This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4.0 enabled CASIO watch.
Pairing your watch with a smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience.
The G-SHOCK Connected app also simplifies certain watch operations by letting you perform them on your phone screen.

Operation is not guaranteed for any operating system not listed below.
Even if an operating system has been confirmed as compatible, software updates or display specifications may prevent proper display and/or operation.
G-SHOCK Connected cannot be used on Android feature phones with arrow keys.

App is okay when it works. Severely lacking for the brand. I want more options. Bluetooth connection time to be set by me, if I want 24hr connection, so be it. Make it happen! . Auto-light function keeps stopping (very irratating). 3D mapping is poor but location tracking is spot on. Just re-invent this app and listen to the users. There's so much potential to be had. I'd be willing to pay a one off fee if the app was outstanding.

I love this app. I'll be honest and admit that I was a bit unsure about it after reading some negative reviews but honestly, it's great, easy to follow and, even easier to use. It makes setting things like the alarms, hourly mark, steps target and everything on the watch easy because if like me, your fingers are like a Rhinos foot, trying to use the watch buttons can be tricky despite the large size of them.

It works fine for my gw-b5600. Just a basic app for time sync and watch setup. I do not use the way point functionality. If I wanted that I would get a smartwatch and not a gshock. After upgrading to Android 9 the sync has stopped working. Edit: after August 2019 these problems have been resolved. The app is now pretty robust although it misses a sync every now and then. But I don't mind missing one sync every month, it picks up the next sync of the day so everything is fine.
