With Global Search, you can quickly access various types of information and apps on your phone, including:

Apps:​ Enter an app's name to access installed apps or go directly to their download page in the app store.

Contacts:​ Enter a name or partial number to find your contacts directly.
Files:​ Enter keywords to quickly locate your stored documents, images, videos, music, and other file types.

Settings:​ Enter a function name (e.g., "Sound") to jump directly to the corresponding settings page.

Notes:​ Enter a keyword to immediately find and display related notes.

Calendar:​ Enter an event title to keep track of upcoming schedules and activities at any time.

Do not listen to the bad reviews. This app is essential for any phone. Basically it allows you to quickly swipe , or tap , and you can search for anything on your phone. Although it's not perfect and the interface is very simple (It is supposed to be) .... the idea is to save you from swiping around and allowing you to quickly open your application.

I have a work profile in my phone. when I try to search for a work profile app. it is showing in the result list but when I click to open it is not opening. search result is suffling when I click to open but unfortunately open another app in the list. it is not working. This bug is really very irritating. Every time I manually search the app to open it.

THIS SUCKS! I don't even use this feature! It's just a bloatware on my devices, if I am buying a good phone I need goo features and most importantly not ads in the built-in software. Which is the main issue, do you really have to include random ads in a feature like this? And most of the time it doesn't even show my apps, what a junk!
