The official Google Photos app is made for the way you take photos today and includes essential features like shared albums, automatic creations and an advanced editing suite. Additionally every Google Account comes with 15 GB of storage and you can choose to automatically back up all your photos and videos in High quality or Original quality. You can then access them from any connected device and on photos.google.com.

With the official app, you get:

Overall, not a bad app. Everything is neatly organized, easy to find and easy to share! I love how I can create shared albums with my husband and we can both add to and view each other's photos. Works wonderful for pix of our beautiful Angel.... -⭐ for the editor... Lacks many vital functions. I don't like having to use up more space for a separate editor, but it's not the worst thing that could happen...

I truly love Google Photos. And I'm finally trying to utilize all that it has to offer, like the Highlight Video. However, twice now, after all the hard work of curating and editing - it will freeze, stop, then goes to the home page; therefore, losing everything and having to start all over again. This is incredibly frustrating and rage inducing, lol.

This app is overall good, exept for the bad parts (I'll get to that in a bit.) It lets you create albums of photos, and has memories, which shows you photos from this day a couple years to months ago. DON'T USE BACK UP FOR THE FREE PLAN, YOU CANNOT REMOVE THEM FROM THE PLAN ON MOBILE. I accidentally pressed "Free up some space" thinking that removes the photos and videos from the free plan. It does not. It removes them from your device. I had to download every single one, there is no all option.

What's new
