Pay for your public transport tickets online via PayPal, SEPA direct debit or credit card and save 7% compared to buying them at a ticket machine or on the bus. Weekly and monthly tickets and the Hamburg CARD are excluded. The displayed price of the ticket already includes the discount.

For even more convenience, you can save stops and addresses as favourites. You can also save frequently used locations, such as work or home, to navigate to them with one click from the home screen. This saves you time when planning your route and makes it even easier to start your journey.

it would be good if they had another app that was real time that you could use to plane trips, buses are often very late and google map doesn't keep up with the late schedules to avoid delays. Bergen Norway as a good app that does this. also the app would not accept my foreign bank card and I had to create a PayPal account with the same card to pay for my ticket.

The app charges money before validating the purchase. It means that it can charge money on a FAILED purchase. The customer support did respond to a refund request, yet this kind of issue freezes funds for a few days. Be careful when using PayPal as a payment method. Otherwise, when it works, it works as expected.

I keep having problems with the app while the old one was working fine. The search takes 1min to give any result. The payment takes even longer and doesn't go through. Happens once that I bought 2 tickets because the 1st one appeared in the app after 3min... and no success or error message. You need to wait to know what happened. It also doesn't save your preferences. So everyone I need to find for the starting point and switch again the type of ticket I want...
