Update is more stable, so I will add a star.Nevertheless, the music interface is worthless for my music library. Foobar-2000 is much better interface and much easier to use, though it's more limited in tyoes of files it plays ( FLAC works well as long as it's just 2-channel. BTW. did ask on Forum and got this response: Y"our best bet is to learn to use what you've got."
Sorry to hear it. Did you update to the latest, 34.0.7 ? Menu > Info > Update.
It fixed a crash and several problems. Please post details on our forum.
Edit -- Would you mind posting why you don't like the UI on our forum? We can probably help you find a solution. Thanks.

If you want to fight and struggle with your music collection, JRiver is it!I have tried for over 3 yrs to use this app reliably. It fails me almost every single time. All I want to do is play my music collection. This app fights me every single time. I am sorry I purchased it. A complete waste of $$$$. I've had free software that works better. I have tried Windows, Linux variants, and Mac OS. Nothing works right. This app sucks.... UPDATE It's 2024, this app still fails me each time.

JRiver makes a great product in their Media Center app for the PC. One would expect that their companion android player would work seamlessly with Media Center. Unfortunately, it barely works at all, and if you can manage to navigate all the glitches, bugs, anomalies, and settings, it doesn't do anything more than whatever app you probably already have installed. I wasted a lot of time before giving up and simply using another player. Still using JRiver Media Center and highly recommend it.
