What it does is useful, but there is huge room for improvement. For instance, I can't pair from my phone. Only from my PC. I can't browse my phone from my PC. I can't send SMSs from my PC. There are too many applications in my Linux Mint menu that don't seem to do anything. Notifications don't work. I get duplicate icons on my System Tray that relate to other PC accounts. I'll stick with it for a while in the hope of some updates.

Works perfectly in conjunction with Manjaro KDE, however I wish there were a way to stop my phone and PC communicating and close the app without having to unpair and pair again next time I want to use it, or force-killing the app. I mostly use this to transfer files across devices, maybe once or twice a month, even if I can turn the notifications off, I still don't want an app that I barely use running in the background all the time.

Works like a charm on KDE and i3wm. I saw some other reviews saying they had issues with not being able to browse phone files and send SMS from the connected PC, but these features worked out of the box for me. It's worth pointing out, though, that some features on the PC end could only be accessed by the kdeconnect-cli command line utility.
