About this app

Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Some highlights of the app:
* Stores all your passwords in a securely encrypted vault
* compatible with KeePass (v1 and v2), KeePassXC, MiniKeePass and many other KeePass ports
* QuickUnlock: Unlock your database once with your full password, re-open it by typing just a few characters - or your fingerprint
* Synchronize your vault using the cloud or your own server (Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP, WebDAV and many more). You can use "Keepass2Android Offline" if you don't need this feature.
* AutoFill service and integrated soft-keyboard to safely and easily pass the passwords to websites and apps
* Many advanced features, e.g. support for AES/ChaCha20/TwoFish encryption, several TOTP variants, unlock with Yubikey, entry templates, child databases for sharing passwords and more
* Free and Open-Source

Great app. It's free and without ads so it would be unreasonable to expect perfection. It has the best gdrive sync support of all the apps I've tried and yubikeys work! It would be cool if there would be a better way to handle TOTP. Also, it would be cool if we could hide "autofield fields" in the keyboard. I would like there to be Username, Password and TOTP. No need for notes, OTP secret code string etc... Also the keyboard doesn't look great and the key file location does not seem to save.

I just upgrade to kitkat and I can open the database and check it but any time I try to search the database locks and I must introduce the key again. But it is a bug because on the notification it says that the database is unlocked. So it is really difficult to use at all. I am using dalvik, no ART. [EDIT] Latest 0.9.3 r3 fix the problem. Thanks. Great support by the developer.

sorry I misunderstood the problem. I think this was a bug which I fixed in the update from today. Would be great if you could retry. Sorry about the trouble!

Dear developer, since a couple of days ago the app has started behaving weirdly; it does not allow you to enter any new entries or edit the ones already stored. The only choice available within the app right now (at least in my case) apart from viewing your previous password entries, is to donate a beer. Furthermore, I just received a notification from the app, which never appeared before, warning me that, due to a"very rare" exception, Android OS had killed the application, and some of the app's features might not be fully restored, urging to contact the developer (Philipp Crocoll) through his email if that is the case. I really value the app since it provides a practical and efficient way to get access to the thousand passwords that all of us have. Thus, I should have probably being more conscious about the dev's efforts to make my life a little bit easier, and had paid anything for this tiny safe that the app represents, that's my bad. On the other hand I do not feel very comfortable with the new no-features of the app and this worrying messages popping out from it, since very sensitive information is stored within it. I would like to know if "donating a beer" will retore the previous features that the app used to have, and if not having paid it yet is the actual origin of the non-features and worrying pop out messages I am receiving. If payment were the solution, I would recommend to warn the app's users this matter from the begining, or make Kee2pass a non-free app (which, as I mentioned before, consider a fair approach given the quality of it), since it could lead to some misunderstanding, and given the sensitiveness of private data nowadays, I would like to be prevented in advance. Thanks in advance to the developer for his answers and support.

Sounds like you have opened the local backup of the database. Please select "Change database" on the password screen, then make sure you open the actual database from the recent files list and not its Local backup (which is readonly)!
