I've used the Makro app for a few orders and found the pricing competitive and delivery fast. However, the main issue is that items are often out of stock, and customers aren’t always informed. It’s frustrating to have to follow up on incomplete orders, only to learn that products are unavailable, even though they weren’t marked as out of stock when I ordered. This makes me hesitant to order in the future. Great concept, but it needs to improve on stock communication and reliability.

An absolute nightmare! Never ever again! I'm sooo done with this app and with Makro as a whole. After 4 days of phone calls and emails back and forth (because they refuse to update order status) I finally have the most important Christmas purchase canceled because the item is out of stock. I'm absolutely livid! Now the courier is driving cross country to deliver a packet of blades worth R30 that I was forced to buy because I was R1 short on free shipping. This is an absolute crock. DELETE APP!

Ordered a table. After 5 days they cancelled the order "due to low stock"(which was never dispatched when purchased) . Viewed the product again and then it said they had one more in stock. So why cancel the order if you have one more in stock? On top of that I will only get my money back within 15 days. Making it 20 days due to the order cancelled after 5 days. Now I don't have a table and I dont have a table to go camping with because I won't get my money back until after the camping trip.
