Ratings and reviews

There are basic functions that don't work, some of which are the nature of Sheetz, some are just poor workmanship on the app. (1) You can't customize very well. My main order is coffee, but most customization options are non-existent within Sheetz. This has been an issue for years, but they lag behind and make it impossible to order what you want on the app. (2) Gift card redemption doesn't work. It says it isn't connected when you try to use that function.

I'm very familiar with Sheetz and can tell you for a fact that this app's 4 star rating is unwarranted. It's a 2, at best; it has confusing navigation slavishly tied to the company's insistence on a faux-pop aesthetic, it has literal pop-up ads, the app will simply crash permanently and force a total reinstall, and fail to load on an in my experience nearly daily basis. It just unambiguously sucks and there's no reason to excuse it.

The app has a lot of features and allows you to do what you need, but it has absolutely no care for user experience. The app is slow and seems to focus on flashy loading graphics. When ordering food, every selection in the menu scrolls you to the top, including a half screen ad you have to scroll past every time. When pulling up your sheetz card, a loading graphic covers the bar code, forcing you to wait until cigarette coupons load before you can scan your card.
