Needed this app to set up receiving contactkess payments by phone. Can't get this to work despite following instructions, get an infinite loading screen. Contacting their customer service is also inconvenient as it puts you through specific topics and none of them address this issue, and the option to reach out doesn't actually do anything, dead link. I already use PayPal for my nonprofit but since contactless doesn't work, this app provides no extra functionality.

Do not get this app or terminal in the first place. The connectivity is awful. If the terminal goes into standby, it takes forever to get it back - that is, if it comes back at all. We have had this for less than 6 months and are already on our 2nd terminal as the first one just refused to work after 3 months. After a few months the second terminal suddenly decided that it would only take the payments in the second or even third attempt. Problem is - every time it shows on the customers account as if the money has gone out even though it hasn't, so they think they have been charged twice or three times. And trying to explain to them that they just have to wait 10 mins and it will rectify itself - not good !! So we have finally just given up on this system and asked for our money back - but no, because it has been more than 30 days, they will not give us the money back even though it has never really worked properly. Out of 4 deviced we tried to set up to work with the terminal only one of them worked - sometimes. So all in all - it is great when it works, but it very rarely does !! All I can say is - AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

I am sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues. As mentioned by our support team, the issue has been narrowed down to the mobile device compatibility. Unfortunately, since you've had the card reader and have been transacting for over 6 months, we can't refund this but we do strongly recommend trying a different mobile device.

I found my phone would no longer connect to the card reader, in the last week, just when we need it the most. I've, cleared the cache, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, none of that stops the app from failing. It keeps try to open in my firefox focus browser, i can't just open the app. It won't let me log in either, tried xxx times in the browser, suspicious activity. Help! So now, several hours later, I uninstalled Firefox Focus. Installed the iZettle app again, wanted to open in Firefox or Browser. In Firefox it open immediately into the product library. I purchased my reader April 2018, it's always been difficult to connect. I found it worked best when I connected at home first, before going to clients, we do gardening. It has often been unusable, with us having to defer payments to the next visit, which is less than useless. Now I have ancient Android 6 on my Oukitel K6000 Pro, Bluetooth connects instantly to my portable speaker, never a problem. As i write previously 'visble' (well I can see it) the reader just won't connect, after 30mins, after 1 hour, after 2 hours. I can see now its just as well I activated the invoice option at higher cost of course. Good to know that the fee for invoices has temporarily been reduced to 1.75%, if only more people would understand we don't want cash

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. Have you tried to connect the reader to a different mobile device to check if issues persists.
