Apndeoskt recognize auto geo locations and the towers don't seem to align correctly with the app. App will show the signal right on the nose but will be either week or no signal at all. I've been pointing the antenna both higher and lower altitudes. App should also feature local station signals as thise are much closer to my physical location and you can even get a better signal from local physical stations

Worked in TV engineering for 35 years. This app has what you need to basically aim a directional or dipole antenna at the transmission towers. Out of the few apps on Google Play, this is the only one I found that accurately shows your position in relation to the transmission towers (set permissions!). Other apps do not properly read the GPS compass data from your phone. Just set the phone on top of the antenna, aim. Simple as that. Watch the beam go from red to green. Couldn't be more simple.

Limited, but all right for what it is. It works once you give it location permissions. The interface looks outdated and it would be nice to have a list of stations and their compass direction versus the map and pointing your phone toward things. Overall, the FCC antenna location website is more of what I'm looking for, so I'll just use that and uninstall this app. Also, the Terk Signal Finder app is nearly identical to the RCA one, so take your pick.
