EXCEPTIONAL customer service! If you're new to this or if it's one of your first times, just reach out to them, they will help you. It does get complicated to send money from one country to another with exchange rates and very strict delivery rules. Sometimes you have to match up IDs, sometimes you have to match up phone numbers, sometimes it has to be both. It's very complicated for some situations and can get messy and frustrating quickly. The customer service at Remitly is SO helpful!!!

Easy app to navigate, okay exchange rates, and transfers work — but only with credit cards in my experience. My $300 transfer cost $11.40 by card, while the advertised $1.99 bank transfer option never worked. Customer service blamed my bank (false, confirmed by bank), keeps repeating scripts, “escalating” cases, and promising callbacks that never happen. Feels misleading to advertise a cheaper option that doesn’t actually work.

i will not use ever again! first few transactions were just fine, but as soon as you start to send bigger sums, it becomes an issue and then they delay your money and then request proof and verification. The reps all tell you something different, they lie. its a hassle and inconvenient. please save yourself and go elsewhere...WU would never!
