Ratings and reviews

No change in app. After enabling apps to control Roku, the message to do so reappears when any button is pressed. The app still struggles to attach to wifi, and the service instructions still show - even after setting the TV to recognize Roku remote apps. The interval replay is nonfunctional, and the power button and connectivity are spotty. Connection is successful after using another free app to turn on the Roku. Playing after a 5-min pause results in message to set TV for remote apps.

This is by far the worst app I have ever used for any phone platform, be it Android or iOS. This app is complete garbage. Upon opening it for the first time it BOMBARDS you with ads, one after another, disguised as part of the app to get you to click on them. It tried to get me to inadvertently sign up for the "premium" version which costs ACTUAL MONEY for a virtual remote when a physical replacement would be cheaper. This app is so intentionally misleading it should be illegal.

I was so surprised this app had such high ratings. I downloaded the free version. Right in the middle of changing the volume, rewinding, fast forwarding, etc, an ad will pop up and get in the way of what I'm trying to do. I would have upgraded, but the weekly and monthly cost is exorbitant. The annual cost is reasonable but once I locate the remote us unnecessary.
