About this app

Roam the unknown with the Tread® app. It lets you track up to 20 friends on the map of your smartphone and Tread® powersport navigator by using the Group Ride Mobile feature and syncs waypoints, tracks, routes and collections across devices. Easily plan routes on your smartphone with the same maps, vehicle profiles and route preferences you have on your Tread device. Users can import and export GPX files and get access to smart notifications and live weather.

just when I thought this app couldn't get any worse, they updated it. now it's virtually unusable. they took away "insert" stop so now all you can do is add a stop at the end of the route and make a mess dragging it up through all the other stops, the tap and zoom is exceptionally buggy and the opposite of every other platform out there, syncing is now more unreliable, I'd keep on going but the review is limited to 500 chars...

It took 5 months and 6 replacement devices for success. Almost. The device itself is great except for audio controls, dang thing cannot have audio from my phone because it causes an issue with my Cardo headset or my car Bluetooth audio. The app is garbage for routing because it only displays detail in random areas unless on satellite view, and then it does not have all the road names. As I have said every time to Garmin customer service: they are awesome, their app team is garbage.

Explore and this are similar, then I have earthmate for my InReach. Worst of all this isn't anything like Ultimate Campgrounds. They just bought the database and tossed the functionality. The beauty of UC was its filters. Unless I just haven't dug deep enough into Tread it appears that ability to filter campgrounds is gone. Garmin is missing the boat on this. Another example of a big company buying a successful small product and destroying it.
