Add another level of fun and competition to your game with the free Garmin Golf app. Download it to your phone to compete with your friends and fellow golfers. Each round can take on a tournament feel on any of more than 40,000 courses worldwide.

When paired with a compatible Garmin device, the Garmin Golf app lets you track your golf game in several ways. Some Garmin devices allow you to upload scorecards in real-time directly through the Garmin Golf app. Other devices require uploading your round through the Garmin Connect app on your phone or Garmin Express on your computer, and then you can review leaderboards and stats in Garmin Golf. You can also receive smart notifications and respond to notifications from some compatible Garmin devices that are paired with the app.

If you don’t have a compatible Garmin device, you can still use the app to participate in weekly leaderboards and tournaments by entering your score manually. Players can also set up their own tournament events, invite multiple friends to compete and live chat with one another during the events.

Ratings and reviews

Like the app but when I go in to edit a round it hangs up and then loses all or most of the scores, putts etc. Reentered most of the data and saved it. 2 days later, the back nine data was gone again. Very frustrating. Almost a year later, I am still having the same problem. Garmin says it is a known problem and will be fixed in a couple of weeks. I doubt that since it has been almost a year since I last submitted this🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I've been using this app successfully until recently for 2 years but now... My garmin watch will keep the score but after the round has been completed, the app pops up on my phone and says round is not finished. It will not let me resume or save. It will only allow me to discard the round. Very frustrating. Ready to try something else. Also, the app seems to get very confused on my golf league when we have a shotgun start and are not starting at hole one.

Since the last update the app has been very buggy. Editing the location of a shot is broken. The new zoom function is good, but the yardage fonts are way too small. Also, the app is always prompting me that I haven't completed my latest round even though I have which is really annoying. I have accidentally discarded multiple rounds because of this. I pair the app with an Approach S62.
