To get started

If you have a UBA account, select Sign-up and register as a new user by choosing from any of the options below:
1. UBA Debit/Prepaid Card
2. UBA Secure Pass
3. USSD PIN
4. Activation Code Only (limited access)
5. In-branch activation

If you do not have a UBA account
1. Click the menu on the top-left corner of your app
2. Select "Open an Account"
3. Choose your preferred account type
4. Fill in your details and your account number will be sent to you via SMS
5. Conclude your signup process
6. Start Banking

I rarely write reviews on apps, but this one is an exception. This version of the UBA app has been crashing for almost 3 weeks now on my phone. When you open the app, it crashes saying an error occurred. You have to Uninstall it then install it again, before logging in. An even when you log in, after few minutes it crashes saying your device has been deactivated. You would need to login back with your information. It does this repeatedly.

The UBA Mobile App is smooth, fast, and super convenient. I love how easy it is to check my balance, transfer money, buy airtime, and even pay bills — all from my phone. The new update has rendered the app almost useless because you can't do mobile money transactions. getting "unhandled error" feedback whenever I try to make a transaction. I went to the main branch on Jinja road but they've still not worked on rectifying the error: which for me has rendered the app useless. This is stressing
