Ratings and reviews

Well, it does work OK, but it's way too slow to start. Takes almost 10 seconds on my Pixel 8 Pro with a good internet connection, probably due to the GD ads (which sometimes hide to actual controls). Because of all the ads, I'll never buy one of the products, but I guess that doesn't bother them. Too bad, as the opener is very nice. But I'm only comparing it to old chain-drive openers from Sears, so maybe others are just as good.

Limited function. It really just lets you open and close the garage door but I wish it would also let you control the light attached to the garage door, or at least see if it is on. Mine was on for days and I didn't know until I saw the light shining through the windows. It was stuck in on and I couldn't turn it off through the app. Also when the garage is broken it doesn't give clear details why.

Terrible app. no way to freely change notifications, I can't set a time frame to be notified. It's either all notifications or none. I don't need to know every time the door opens, only if it's past my usual hours. If they pay their app team so little, what do they pay and pay attention to with their hardware team?
