It's not terrible but it's not great either. It functions as intended, but. It does badger you to promote which costs a mint (although its entirely optional) but the biggest problem. It's barren. NO ONE is using it, there's one ad in a hundred mile radius. Not one search result, there is a single advert in the radius that I didn't put there myself. And the audience is similarly scarce. A buying and selling app with no buyers or sellers, you got to increase the user base or it's simply unusable.

upon installing the app, you the user have no choice but to agree to 947 gumtree partners to collect information about your device as they please themselves. Paid ads don't make any difference (I've tried). It is not possible to change email on the account and I have lost access to my email associated with this account and so my great reviews, something gumtree introduced for the feel of safety, now I'm back to 0. Rate yourself gumtree -10. I think GT hides ads from some users.

What I find on Gumtree nowadays is too many P takers who want something for nothing and offer you ridiculous amounts for quality as new items. I spent more time telling people where to go on here than anything else. The delivery option should be stopped, I don't trust people to try and pull a fast one on delivery saying it's damaged in some way. Like gumtree is full of dossers wanting to buy stuff for basically nothing.
