Ratings and reviews

Robinhood's cost basis reporting is confusing and can lead to unexpected gains or losses. I assumed my average cost would be used, but a different method was applied without making it clear. New investors should understand their cost basis settings before selling. Double-check your tax lots, or you could end up with results you didn't expect, like I did.

Extremely diverse platform. Offers all of the tools any traditional broker would offer. Also allows basic crypto trades without the hassle of learning how everything works, although I personally prefer to have control of my own crypto wallets. My only complaint is the UI. It is too cluttered and difficult to navigate. That is mostly because it is feature-rich in research tools, but it could do with some reorganization.

it's ok, the options interface could be much better. for example, there is no way to easily increase or decrease price of option. Once you buy an option, it's hard to navigate back to account page, also there is no replace/update price button after submit. you have no somehow navigate back to home screen and manually enter new price, very difficult for high volume traders.
