It's a shame. It started out great. This is going to sound exaggerated but I've been waiting for over a week for a transfer from a friend. I actually told him this was more convenient than any other service. Don't use this app. They haven't responded to any of my emails and God help you if you want to call them. I've used it SUCCESSFULLY many times. Not sure whats going on.
"Paid this Person Recently" Message I almost made duplicate weekly payment that I had paid 18 hours earlier. When app asked me if I was sure I wanted to continue with transaction, I was a little bothered, then decided first to check my bank account. Sure enough, I had paid already (even though I still don't remember). THANK YOU APP!
very disappointed at Customer Service for SquareCash...previously I have been telling many people to use it....but the first problem i encounter (even though it was a stupid mistake from my part), need help but no where to be found. after much research, sounds like people are having the same issues with them. extremely disappointed. most likely will not recommend to others anymore
Humans make mistakes!!! If you are human and by mistake you pick the wrong person from your list to send money to, then THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL THE TRANSACTION!!! There is no confirmation message to verify the name of the person... there is no previous handshake between you and the other person... there is no CANCEL button... nothing... you'll just have to hope the other person is honest to give you back the money or hope your bank helps you with a claim... I'll wait for the outcome of my situation and delete the app for good..
At first this seemed like a nice tool. It allowed my son to send money and me to send money to him. The second time my son sent money to me, it wanted to verify me. It asked for my Name, Date of birth, and Social Security Number - now keep in mind the account already has my account information and telephone number - Why in the world would I give some unknown "Square, Inc." all that information about me. BEWARE PEOPLE it may not be, but it smells an awful lot like a identity theft app by luring you in with one or two transactions and then requiring information to "verify" you. Besides, consider this - I never gave them my SSN before, so how would they "verify" it? BEWARE, STAY CLEAR, DELETE AND DO NOT USE.
No Support - Nearly Useless Any transfer > ~$30 will not be instant. Transfers > ~$100 will be refunded "for your protection". EDIT: Between my original review of not having any way to reach the Cash support team 6/12, to today 6/18 Cash has added a button that connects to an actual support page. Their current response time as per their site is 1-3 business days and allows you to inquire about specific transactions. My 1 star rating still stands for the rarely instant transfers and 0 transparency into payment rejections.
