I needed to sell my car and autotrader. Growing up it was a trusted source to buy and sell vehicles. First and foremost, the app is horrible. You have to sign in every single time you use the app. The messaging on this app is the worst I've ever dealt with. Be careful on who messages you. Many people seem to want some random car report like cartrace or vinsee then back out for no reason. Many people say they will give a cashier's, check and never do. Beware of scammers. What a disappointment.

If you want to pay to have scams attempted on you, this is the app for you, because that's all that happened when I purchased their services. I might, maybe, possibly have had one legitimate buyer lead across two vehicle sales. Also, once you start receiving their emails, good luck getting off of them. Their unsubscribe system is utterly broken. I'm in the midst of having to argue with their support that I'm receiving emails from them. I've used AutoTrader for years, but won't in the future.

This app is terrible if you are selling something. It's constantly telling me I have unread messages making me think someone is reaching out! Constantly getting messages from people trying to scam me! When I block and report I can't delete so the app says I need to respond to them still! It freezes non-stop and they don't tell you all the invasive hoops you have to jump through like giving up personal data to third party companies, ID photos etc .. I should be able to briefly pause a listing
