Ratings and reviews

Expedia is not a good option to use when booking a room. There is no communication to the hotel you will be staying at. If you have to have cancelations, upgrades, or last minute changes Expedia will not help and the Hotel has no options or obligations to helpyou either. It's buyer beware. Please stop using these companies that offer subpar customer service and deal directly with the hotel you are looking for. The hotel will match any online price this site lists. Best option - call direct.

Just today I had booked a room thru the app and paid in advance so I would just get there and check in faster. When I got to the hotel to check in, they said they never received payment for the booking but had my reservation (even though Expedia took money out of my account the second I pressed confirm Booking). I spoke with Expedia after waiting for 30+ minutes on hold and they still couldn't figure out what's going on. First and last time using this app.

Worst support I received from any hotel booking app. Booked two consecutive trips with two rooms each. First one went well but second one hit into some hiccups. Please DO NOT use the Expedia virtual chat as Expedia says that its not their. Any changes will NOT be honoured as the conversation is with the hotel directly. Even if there's no response, they can't do anything about it. I'm not sure then, where to get any support for anything urgent.
