This Control4 app is specifically designed to be used with Control4 Smart Homes running OS 3. It turns your Android phone or tablet into your personal user interface to control all your smart home devices.

AVOID!! This is a terrible app. We went with Intelligent Homes (WA) and it's terrible service. Every time some breaks they will charge you a min $250 call out fee and then charge every 15 mins when the tech has to keep calling the office because he doesn't know how to fix it. Training on the job at your cost. Avoid!!! Avoid!! AVOID! We are building again and will completely discount any builder that uses Intelligent Homes and Control 4!!!

I bought a new tablet and downloaded this software. I had upgraded my system to OS 3 several months ago. Have 2 android phones with this app no problem. Today I downloaded app and tried to use it but app wants a "invitation code" as part of the startup credentials. Have no idea what this is and never needed to know of one before.

All together this app is very useful however there are a few problems. One being that I couldn't control my eco thermostats from the app after they randomly got disconnected. Another being that when you try to turn off audio playing from speakers using a switch(not the app), it turns it off for a second before it turns on again(however I'm not sure if that's just a problem with my switch). One thing to note is that I DON'T have the Intercom system so I can't comment on whether or not that works.
