Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Some highlights of the app:

Ratings and reviews

The app works well for the most part, expect when updating the database from another source. Even after closing old database and opening new database it will use old cached passwords. If one is not careful they can quickly get locked out of their account due to too many login attempts. There is a button on one menu to refresh the internal cache but from a workflow perspective it is better to delete the app and reinstall when changing databases to avoid confusion about what is actually in use.

Unfortunately the usability has degraded a lot. Autofill rarely works anymore. Even when the database is unlocked and I hold down on a text field and manually click the autofill button, nothing happens. Very annoying. Sometimes it only fills in or suggests an entry, after I manually typed in the username. Why is it not suggesting the username from the start? I am actively looking for a replacement App now, even outside of the KeePass ecosystem, as usability is very poor.

It does what it's supposed to do. I like that I can view attachments (pics i.e.) within the app. I had just one flaw recently after using it for many years... I did change a pw within the app, the pw-file got stored in my Dropbox but next time I wanted to open it the app did 'synchronize' for hours without being able to open. The updated copy of the pw-file could be opened on my desktop though. Only a deinstallation and a following new installation of the app helped to use it again.
