I'm deleting the game, and my advice is don't believe the ads showing the gorgeous scenery and artwork. This game is absolutely nothing like that at all. It is a very typical alliance war game, and not even a decent one at that. Many of the older Alliance war games were just mass chaos so players left quickly. The newer ones have made adjustments to make gameplay more enjoyable, equitable so you can actually have long term players. This is first generation RoK. Don't bother!

This game is quite unfinished. very overwhelming for me as a new player. some currencies have generic description. the story is there just to engage you at start,after that it loses its meaning. the some NPCs at trading house have same images, at least put some effort there. not to mention pretty much all moving images give that AI artificial feel.

It is not longer any mystery to me why this fabulous game has won all the major game awards in this category. It succeeds on every level. Great cut scenes and overall graphics. Very good voice acting and general characterisation. Simple controls. Easy gameplay. Very good and immersive story line. Nice music. And it does actually does feel like a struggling Viking village. Some interesting historical details and a relaxing general ambiance just make the whole thing a magnificent triumph.
