This was my go to app for all of my translations it did everything was easy to navigate and vary rarely crashed. Then Microsoft updated it and overnight it became the worst app on my devices it constantly informed me that I had no internet connection ( I did) everything that made it easy to use has been either moved or taken out of the app. The ability to translate from pictures no longer works DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

This app's conversation function was amazing, especially in school settings with so many languages in one classroom. I have a friend that speak Egyptian Arabic and it translated the context very well while it also translated to Russian and Spanish and Dutch at the same time. Unfortunately the conversation function no longer works. It's writes it all in English. I saw many complaints from educators with no response from Microsoft. It's super disappointing it's not supported anymore.

Translator is my go-to for translation ATM. It seems pretty intelligent and generally succeeds when it tries to provide responses based on context. For instance recently I used OK in the middle of a phrase. Instead of using 'OK' or 'vale' in the Spanish translation which would both have been adequate, the app provided 'de acuerdo' (I agree) which was better. One thing I haven't worked out yet is how to use it off line. I have d/l Spanish and Portuguese but it doesn't seem to know that.
