Buggy Software. I have a Suunto 9 Peak and the App used to be okayish. Since a few months it does not sync / display steps, calories or sleep heart rate of previous days. It only shows the data for the current day. I reset the watch, deleted the apps cache, but nothing worked. For a watch that cost me that much, I would have expected more Software Quality. My next watch is going to be a Polar again (the heart rate appeared to be more accurate there as well) .. or maybe garmin / coros.

Good app with nice data analysis. However, recently, some of my activities are not being synced to Strava. They are in the Suunto app but not imported to the connected Strava account. Why so? Edit: not only are some activities not synced, I can't even look at the horizontal graph in the Suunto app, and I can't download fit/GPX data from these activities.

Recent updates have made Suunto a top fitness tracker app. It's one thing to have a powerful watch that does all the latest tracking, it's entirely another to have an app that translates it to the end user in a digestible experience. I've used WHOOP and Samsung and this has made it just as good as those. My biggest issue is needing a computer to update a watch instead of doing it over Bluetooth on a phone like every other service.
