edit: for some reason they limit the exchange rate and alerts to your location's currency, which makes no sense. had to remove a star for this weird choice. It's fast and the fees are much better than bank transfer (even within the same bank). It has saved me thousands of HK dollars at this point, easy. They even show you competitor prices but I've found the list to be wrong, and I've tried many alternatives - Wise still ends up being the cheapest.

Fees are great. App is ok. a bit confusing and buggy when managing jars and multiple currencies and sending from the middle east. What is utterly terrible, is their Customer Service. Absolutely useless and definitely frustrating. My money is basically floating for more than a week (which is silly because it was a small test amount). My bank confirmed it was CREDITED the next day yet they gave me the 6 days Swift excuse, even after showing them proof. Time to escalate it I guess.

This app is great except for one huge issue: If you transfer money then come back a few days later to do another transfer (as I tried to today), it will not go through. Why? Because Wise is "Waiting for payments to settle". Yet my bank shows a completed Wise transaction three days ago, and the account I transfer from still has more than enough in it for the transfer I tried to do today. This has happened several times now. I guess I need to find an alternative to avoid this aggravation. 3.5
