Ratings and reviews

Pixel 10 user. I've been struggling with over-saturated colours. The failure to provide manual controls is disappointing. Night shots over-expose, by going for daytime-like levels of brightness. It feels like all the focus has gone into GenAI stuff (which I personally don't much want) at the expense of basic photographic excellence - which has always been a key selling point of Pixel models for me. Disappointing.

pixel 11 pro XL first day, I have to say improvement on zoom in my photos compared to my p8 pro. but my 3rd photo. despite turning off auto editing. At dusk photo of heron flapping it wings to take off. would of been a blurry moment of nature. but due to the heavy ai aspect at X10 zoom. device decided the photo would look better without the heron taking off blurred in motion. it removed it quicker than the bird moved. Potential glitch, or I now have new expensive paper weight!

Recently switched from Pixel 6 to Pixel 8, and would have saved myself the money if I'd known they'd discontinued the photosphere feature. It was easily my favorite camera feature, and the only reason I hadn't already made the switch to iPhone. Very disappointed generally by Google's support for its apps; almost everything I've enjoyed using is no longer supported. Other than that, the camera is functional.
