This issue has been going on for a while and keeps appearing and disappearing. I will randomly lose the ability to edit my documents on Android. It's acting as if I'm in "view only mode" on documents I've created. It will not give me the little edit icon so that I can switch from view mode to edit mode. This is very frustrating and I need to be able to edit documents on the go from my phone.

I love this app! It's the most practical app I use and one of my favorite ones. I have a few requests that I feel would make the app better. I think that being able to lock or hide Docs would be a great addition since anyone who has your Email can automatically access all your Docs. Also, I noticed that you can't change the type of English on a phone (might just be my version though). I think this will help fix a lot of spelling errors or words that might confuse people. Otherwise, great app!

As a writer, the option to use the chapters menu on the right to quickly locate a section of the document to write/edit was a key feature for me, but now it no longer works consistently, despite trying it on multiple mobile devices. I'm going to switch to another editing program soon if it doesn't get corrected. The app is barely functional at this point and has constantly had problems since July of 2022 for me.
