This app is generally good. No huge changes to the GUI too often. It's kept simple and easy to use. But it is frustrating whenever android releases an OS update, the NFC payment processing on the app is blocked until said update is installed, which requires me connecting to WiFi. It's very inconvenient when I'm out on the road, at a job, and all of a sudden, with no notice, have to dig out the card reader to process payments.

We have been using this for over 6 years. All of a sudden, I can no longer record payments using my PC. I have to sign into the app on my phone. I am old. I use a PC for the company sales, items and staff. The phone is too small for these old eyes. Why are they making changes without warning. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The system worked perfectly for our small seasonal business. Now we cannot record payments unless it is debit or a credit card. A lot of our clients use checks and e-transf

The 6/10 update removed the ability to deposit checks into your Square account. The change was not noted in the update, the online legal terms for Square usage, or the support documentation that all confirm this feature is available subject to agreeing to the terms. Calling support, they stated to deposit checks, the account requires a "certain amount of banking history for that feature to be enabled," but they can't tell you how much or what kind. I've had good history so this is infuriating.

We update our apps regularly to make sure they’re at 100%. This update includes minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
