How it works?
 
1. List your car: enter key details about your vehicle, and we will contact you to schedule the installation of our device
2. Receive bookings: once we verify their identity, drivers can reserve your car for the times you specify as available
3. Renting made easy: drivers can find your car and use their phone to unlock it independently, or inspect and sign the contract directly with you
4. Get paid: funds are transferred to your bank account within five working days after each rental

Ratings and reviews

I've rented twice, and both times, the fuel levels reported were incorrect. The first time, it charged me $10 & when I contacted couldn't refund it but put money towards my next rental. The 2nd time, it charged me $30 for fuel even after I submitted pictures (taken within the app) that the car was on full. I contacted them that night, and they said someone would contact me back but have yet to do so. I sent an email days ago, and there was no response. I'm currently not able to rent.

Very unreliable, 2 cars didn't unlock! I booked a car, but it didn't unlock, I called getaround, they can't do anything either. So I had to quickly book another car, that wasn't available until the next round 30min... Then when I get to it, same problem, the car didn't unlock... No amount of app restart, phone restart helped ... In the end I had to book a taxi, and was super late to my appointment 😡 I will not use Getaround anymore!

Not a very friendly user interface. The app highlights a section to estimate your income if you were to list on the platforms, but then it asks information as if you were actually signing up. I was interested to know what they thought I may earn if I bought a used car and put it on the platforms. I can't get an estimate because I cannot provide a plate number.

What's new
