The app works well with my cheap Canavis DVR, and I have been using it for years. I recently discovered that the ads (specifically the full-page, unskipable one when you first open the app) can be turned off in the settings which was a huge relief. I never really minded the small banner ads, but being able to disable the startup ad was a major improvement.

Remove the damn adverts, pointless having an option in settings that just gets unset every couple of days. How annoying is it - you get a security alert, then have to wait for the app to load an ad, before getting into the app. EDIT: you can see in the copy and paste response that these guys don't care about customer service. Your copy and paste response, as per my complaint, doesn't work. It just gets renabled a few days later.

Using this app is a nightmare. The very first thing you're presented with is an unskippable ad, which, if you do anything but wait for the close button, will open the ad website. Then, inside the app, it takes a second to load more ads. This is just enough time for you to see the button you want to press, but by the time you press it, all the buttons have moved. Often, this results in you pressing the ad. Additionally, I turned location services off, but I still receive localised ads. Awful!
