Terrible app, ruins the sound by lowering and distorting it to make you think it improves it significantly when you turn it on. However, the sound was not like that in the first place. Moreover it still cannot match the initial sound even when you turn it on. Wavelet and Poweramp EQ are better options. Fix your own music, instead of relying automatization apps like this one.

After doing the hearing test in the Sound ID app, the graphs displayed were very similar to those from my audiologist. The corrections put in by the app balanced the frequencies in each ear, so both ears now sound the same and the missing mid and low range is back again. The app uses very little battery power. However, after being switched off for an hour or two, I get a notification "Sound ID error: potential app conflict" and have to restart the app. Pixel 7 Pro +Bose QC35 II

This app would be perfect if it actually could function consistently. In order for the EQ to do anything; you literally need to shut down and reopen the app about ten times. The button will show SoundID On, but will do nothing. Also pausing music or changing apps will randomly crash the EQ. Even the pause between songs can make it stop working. If these bugs could be fixed, this would be a five star app.
