Ratings and reviews

We have used this app in many countries including our own- Scotland, to book trips. Two amazing trips we took were in Japan, Mount Fuji and the bullet train and a full day trip in Tokyo. Both had great guides and we loved the chosen experiences. Another was a boat tour of the Amalfi coast in Italy. It was wonderful. It is so convenient to book trips at home, knowing that tickets and skip the lines are all taken care of, pay nearer the time or cancel if needed. Just turn up at meeting point.👍

Bait and switch pricing—avoid! We booked at an advertised rate of £62.50 for six people, only to be texted later by the operator demanding another £64 for fuel and a skipper. These mandatory costs are buried in the fine print rather than being included in the booking total, making the trip 100% more expensive than the price paid at checkout. Shockingly, GetYourGuide has backed the merchant instead of protecting the customer. Do not trust the 'headline' prices on GetYourGuide's listings.
