Competitive FX exchange rate. Used for the first time on a recent (April 2024) trip to China using Alipay Guangzhou Metro, Didi Beijing and Weixin (WeChat) pay in Shanghai. Works well. Recent ability to add to Google Pay wallet is welcomed. Look forward to additional features in future. Garmin Pay wallet functionality would be convenient. Also an auto convert currency at a set rate is useful too, although I could use another app to alert and exchange manually but it's good to have.

The physical card is good for physical stores. However, I am unable to make any payment from Google wallet or the app itself using either physical and virtual card details on my phone. Transactions keep getting declined and I can't find info online to rectify this. Also, I can't use the cards for online payments. Also keeps getting declined.

nowadays I less likely to go to money changer as the exchange rates at times are better than money changer rates such as NZ, Australian and Yen. for 1 year I don't use credit card for overseas use. even with points given for credit card doesn't quantify the savings I earn using youtrip
