Ratings and reviews

Connection is unstable despite good wifi signal, etc. ➡️ entire group of light bulbs has to be reset whenever any one goes offline (within a day or two of previous reset); until then no control is possible using the app. Or it will recognize a device but then refuse to install it ("timeout error"). Or it will work for all devices in a group except for one which is permanently shown as "offline". Like banging your head against a brick wall, it feels so good when you stop using this app as well!

2024 update: Needs all the permissions but still doesn't work. Same problem with lightbulbs resetting themselves. 2022 review: Lights keep forgetting their connection, causing them to go into blink mode, in the middle of the night. I just want my lights to work and this intense blinking is gonna give me a seizure before I can manage to reset it. This is like the twentiest time I have to do this.

It is impossible to connect the outlets and one goes in circles with the slow blinking pairing mode - connecting to smartlifeedb45 or whatever the devices wifi is leads you to an unusable connection where one has to hit ok and give up. The app won't even try connecting unless the router with wifi is not also connected to the internet, as if the connection between my app and my phone and the device on the same local wifi network needed a third party in domewhere in the world to do anything. 👎
