Ratings and reviews

Stop asking for notifications! A recent update has made using the app a pain due to the constant requests to allow for notifications every time I open the app. They have made it more difficult to disconnect from an active VPN by burying the disconnect button under the pause menu. I will not be renewing after this recent update of intrusiveness, and lack of UI experts on their team. Do not ask me to contact support for the notifications. This is not an issue on my end at all, and you know it.

It definitely slows your connection down. Also... You want the notifications on so you know what's going on... But they take advantage of that by bombarding you with promotional ads via app notification. Every day I get 2-4 notifications about promotional pricing (I already signed up for a year), dedicated IP, whatever else they want more money for. And you can't opt to turn them off without ignoring the entire app. Pretty shady really, definitely not re-upping or telling anyone to subscribe.

The product worked well, then it stopped being usable and refused to connect to servers and required constant reconnection. After troubleshooting with tech support, I was told essentially, "Too bad it's been more than 30 days; you can't have a refund (I paid full year upfront), so you're stuck with a broken product." I get if I was just asking for a refund. but the product doesn't work. if it doesn't work I shouldn't pay for the service.
