It works for the most part, however, slow to respond on start-up. The widget that is built in for running on a home screen is worse. The status does not update unless your refresh, but the app is always running,?. Better than not having it. Don't get me started on the customer service aspect of it. I have experienced more broken promises and BS than I would have ever expected. Multiple pieces of equipment that have had to have been replaced promised call backs and equipment that should work.

The easiest system can install. Very plug and play. Great for renters as it can be moved from location to location. Absolutely love all of the options for the cameras and recording and the clarity of the images. The SimpliSafe team is extremely responsive as well, seen as how I have triggered a couple "false" alarms. LoL but I would definitely recommend to anybody and you even save money on your homeowners and or renters insurance. 7/7/24. Still using the system love it everyday

Excellent system and DIY friendly. My one big issue with it though is the slow connection rate to the doorbell camera. All the other cameras connect almost instantly, except the door cam. It will often just not connect or take minutes to connect. With it being the entry camera it's a bit useless as an early warning or intercom because people just walk away.
